Alaska Day 11: Inside Passage Cruising

Ok, I think we outdid Louis XIV today. This entire entry is just a list of all the dishes I had for each meal. Besides eating, I lounged and read.

Texas chicken fajitas with two egg frittata and cheddar cheese

Crew Farewell

Lunch
seafood spring roll with sweet red chili sauce

orange with watermelon salsa

seafood sampler-salmon, scallops, ahi tuna, prawn and broccoli seaweed rice roll

Indonesian Tea Ceremony

Jasmine tea

rice sponge cake, fried banana, and fruit tart

Master Chef's Dinner
I look like a sushi chef in that H&M dress

amuse bouche-mushroom mouse with asparagus

pickled and chipotle-hot-smoked salmon with lime-avocado-tomato salsa
lobster bisque

duck a l'orange with Grand Marnier sauce, braised red cabbage, and William potato

Mom's dishes
show salad with honey mustard dressing

oxtail en croute

roasted beef tenderloin on calvados-spiked forest mushroom ragout with braised onion

baked Alaska spectacle

baked Alaska with warm brandy bing cherry sauce

This really was my last day of relaxation this summer. Tomorrow will be hectic disembarking, flying back to Texas, and unpacking. After just a day, I have to attend Camp LBJ, a prepatory summer program for grad school in Global Policy Studies. Goodbye 24 hour feasts!
